Before we begin, I would like to take this opportunity to say a very special heart felt thank you to our former leader and original founder of AWW, Nameda, who stepped down this month! We love you Natasha!

  

Who are Angels without Wings?

They are those fellow deviants:

 who more or less regularly feature other deviants
 who always willingly give tips, hints, helpful comments
 who answer at least a fair amount of the comments they get
 who give kind and or uplifting words where they see its needed
 who feature and pimp projects and deviants who need support/help
 who take the time to suggest DD's on a more or less regular basis
 who take the time to suggest seniority every now and then
 who give fair and helpful critiques (whether official or not)
 or whatever else helpful, kind, supportive they might do

Every first weekend of the month 4 deviants will be awarded with a pair of wings and get

KiwiCocktail is already an angel in her own rite. If you meet her, you can’t unsee what a loving, kind person she is. Julia is also really devoted to the community of Deviantart – she shares her collections of other people’s artworks on her page, she creates features regularly, and also promotes the names of outstanding artists and dear friends, as well as groups with description – basically her page itself gives a lot of help to dA-dwellers! She also leads a group, I-Heart-Colors to spread some visual happiness, suggests DDs and always lends a hand to those who need it, and is an absolutely great companion. Julia uses her point donations to help other artists with commissions and premium memberships, and also gives them to those who are in need. While she is busy doing all of this great work, she still finds time to mentor artists who are opening new groups. She has also recently become a gangsta of love – and as she indeed is a valuable asset to this community, and would make an excellent AWW!

Ellen is a professional traditional artist from Brazil with a deep passion for the DeviantART community. She has an impressive list of accomplishments which include being awarded seniority and the Deviousness Award. She also served the past year as a CV and has firmly rooted herself at the heart of the Anime/Manga community. Ellen is described by her peers as selfless and giving and helps anyone she comes in contact with. She always shows support for her fellow deviants and puts her best effort into any project she undertakes. It is because of her undying dedication and inspiring efforts that we happily award her with a long deserved pair of wings!

Its time for DeviantArt's #1 DD suggester to receive her very own pair of Wings! With 4 years of DD suggesting, she has devoted her community spirit with more than 1000 accepted DDs, meaning thousands of deviants have gained exposure through DDs. When you look through her accepted DDs favorites, you will be amazed at how fascinating her art choices have been to bring forth those lovely pieces to our attention. Currently admin of nine groups, she is on a mission of suggesting about 50 DD per week. She chooses those art pieces from groups, from front page, from favorites of other people and from just random search and you can imagine the time, effort and dedication she has been putting in for such a long time. Over brimming with love for community she promotes in others to participate a lot, join groups, make feature journals and give random comments and favorites or even donations and presents, if you can to give happiness and attention to others.
While she's not suggesting one, she's also a wonderful friend who gives uplifting and encouraging comments. She's a deviant worthy enough to gain her wings.

      Things could have been worse..
A father entered the room of his daughter. She was not there, but there was a letter on her bed. He immediately started to think about the worst case. With shaky hands, he opened the letter and read:
My dear dad,
I'm so sorry to inform you that I ran away with my new boyfriend. I found at last the real love! Oh, if you could just see him! He is so handsome with his tattoos and earrings and so gorgeous on his fast motorcycle! But it's not just this. At last I'm pregnant! John says that we'll be really fine in his trailer in the thick of the forest and he wants us to have a lot of children. Of course, this is my dream too! I also discovered that marijuana does not harm you. That's why we decided to cultivate it for ourselves and our friends, when we run out of cocaine and heroin. Moreover, I hope that Science will find soon a cure for AIDS, so that John will be cured. He deserves it!
Daddy, I don't want you to worry about me. I'm already 15 years old and I can take care of myse

Julie is a beautiful soul who makes it clear how important the community is to her on a daily basis. She creates beautiful weekly features for deviants throughout the community and generously doles out the recognition that every artist deserves. She leaves comments for numerous other deviants. On top of being admin of six groups, she always responds to the comments left on her own works, letting users know she appreciates their feedback. Visiting her DA page makes you realize how active and beloved she is by the community and how she values art by putting up so many art pieces of her and others.
