Fake Bruise Tutorial by The-Lost-Hope Fake Bruise Tutorial by The-Lost-Hope
I got a request for more on how I made my makeup bruise so I tried to remake it but don't think its as good. If I think of another I'll post but hope you guys like.

In case you can't read what it says:
What you need:
Eye Shadow in: dark purple, dark blue, brown (both dark and light), red sticky lip gloss, and q-tips.
Step one: Clear area you want to make up on.
Step two: Make sure area is dry before starting. Use some light brown, and others of then same tones, eye shadow over area.
Step three: Now use dark browns, blues, and purples around where the dark parts of the bruise should be.
Step four: Use your darkest purples and blue in the main spot of the bruise.
Step five: Make sure all layers are blended.
Step six: Take red lip gloss, the sticky kind, and make the wound.
Step seven: Dust some of the darkest eye shadow onto the lip gloss.
Step eight: Smear the lip gloss so it it blends.

Sorry for the sucky photo quality but its hard to hold the camera with one hand and take the photo. Please feel free to comment both positively or negatively as I am always trying to improve.

My bruises tend to look more red and purple, but it's quite a good and simple tutorial :)

Next time maybe you want to use cotton swabs to break down the patern in the color so it doesnt look so even. That will help you to make it look more real.
