Description
I made this charm for my mom's birthday last year (her birthday is late in the year so not too long ago). I am very happy with the way this turned out for a first time making a piece like this! I have to say it was pretty fun too. Guess what I used to make it? Done guessing? If so check the bottom of this post.
The one thing I don't like about this image is the coin's color but it is just a size reference so I don't care too much. Any tips on how to make this or future images like it better? I already use natural lighting. I'd also love some tips on making charms too because I'd like to make more of them.
Thanks for looking,
Bubbles

Supplies Used:
Small purple beads
Small blue beads
Large blue beads
Bread ties hand striped of coverings (time consuming process may I add)
Words cannot describe how amazing this piece is. More importantly, words cannot describe how unique this piece is. Lost Hope, I have only seen ONE other person make dragon fly pieces, and they were on Listia. The problem is for wings they used a small metal wing bead. But you went the extra mile and made wings, and it looks so great this way. I do wish there wasn't as much metal exposed but that's a small detail and this whole thing just looks amazing. Especially the colors. And further more you said this was your first time making this. FIRST TIME! This looks professional grade. I can't imagine how amazing you'll be after years of practice, if you should make these more often. I would more than likely buy one of these if I saw them at the store.
